Acid-Washed Activated Carbon

For a process-liquid buyer, an extractables review should match the way the carbon contacts the liquid. A result produced under unrelated extraction conditions can be difficult to use in a production approval.

An acid-washed grade should be selected against an identified purity requirement. The wash description does not, by itself, establish the acceptable extractables, ash or finished-product compatibility for every process.
