Define the air-treatment duty

Identify the target substances, airflow, humidity and temperature range. Record upstream dust or mist control and note any process cycles that change loading. Discuss the trial with the system designer so the block arrangement and support match the equipment.

Measure the installed result

Check seals and block positioning before interpreting outlet data. Record pressure behavior and signs of physical change during the trial. A short result under favorable conditions should not be turned into a universal removal claim or a fixed service-life promise.

Review the exhaust stream before judging the block

Separate normal production, start-up and cleaning periods in the exhaust-air record. Note upstream dust or mist controls and any changes that might affect the carbon assembly. Choose inlet and outlet measurement points with the system designer so the trial evaluates the intended treatment stage rather than a mixture of unrelated flows.

Keep photographs or written installation records for internal use, together with seals, supports and block identity. Review outlet readings alongside inlet changes and observed pressure behavior. This helps define a realistic follow-up test without treating a brief favorable period as a guaranteed service interval.

Include fit and handling in the block specification

Retain the block layout and operating log with the results. Use outlet concentration and pressure-drop readings to define acceptance criteria for the installed arrangement.
