Measure the installation

Provide block dimensions, channel orientation, quantity and available clearances. Record airflow and the treatment objective. Check how blocks are supported and sealed so gas does not bypass the intended contact path.

Review the offered construction

Ask the supplier to identify the grade, structural information and relevant performance evidence. Confirm handling and installation instructions for the proposed block. Dimensional compatibility is necessary, but it does not establish an adsorption capacity or a replacement interval under the actual gas stream.

Drawings or photographs of the housing can help identify fit issues before sample dispatch. Confirm which dimensions are critical and how tolerances will be checked on receipt, rather than accepting a nominal block size alone.

Inspect the assembled sample for gaps, damage and alignment. Gas bypass around a block can make outlet measurements difficult to interpret even when the carbon itself is suitable. Keep installation observations with the trial record and evaluate handling and replacement access before agreeing a honeycomb-carbon supply format.
